About the House
 

Built in 1845 in the heart of Rob Roy country the house formed part of the Stronvar Estate. The wooden part of the house was originally built as a library for the estate workers in an attempt to keep them out of the pub!!

It now forms a unique space to gather with family and friends.

Lochs, rivers, mountains and glens, steeped in ancient history. Pub, restaurant, walks, bikes it’s on cycle route 7. Great mountain biking trails, foraging, wild strawberries, wild raspberries, wild mushrooms, blaeberries, swimming, waterfalls,
deer, red squirrels, golden eagles, highland cows ancient stone burial ground, mausoleum, kayaking and paddle boarding.
